About Me

Born and raised in Mexico City. I’m fascinated with the idea of doing animation ever since watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

I was formed as a 3D Animator in Mexico City. Both school and work have rounded me up into finding and managing my own resources, developing an eye for, and ability to execute, graphic design endeavors, coordinating my own production bibles for the successful completion of animated projects.

Thanks to the opportunity of studying a second MA in South Korea I was able to pour my knowledge into a new media, stop motion. To be sincere, I always thought of stop animation as an unattainable ideal, however, lead by hard working and talented senior animators, such as Takhoon Kim and Jaebeom Park, I was welcomed into my beloved Jack Skellington’s world, only this time, lending my own hands to animate the cheerful characters of the Teenie Scouts Big Five.

Starting 2019, I’ve been performing as a Producer under Frank Etxaniz’s Kids-HEAL project, where I have delved into the talent hunting, managing, and various other creative responsibilities of the whimsical educational health program he has created. The Kids-HEAL project revolves around characters conceived by children which I helped bring to life through design refinement and animation.

As a new successfully landed animator in Ontario, I’m looking for new creative challenges that will allow me to capture in my work the magic I have felt countless times in front of a screen.
